Beaches
In Anafi there are several beaches, untouched by mass tourism. Lovers of the pristine and desert landscape will find here what they are really looking for. It's no coincidence that it is visited every year by many free campers and nudists, showing special respect for the place that hosts them and also offers a true contact with nature.
Agioi Anargiroi
At a distance of about 8 km from Chora, below the church of the same name is the sandy beach of Agioi Anargyroi. From the road you will witness a short and passable path that should be followed to reach the beach.
Kalagathi
Kalagathi is a beautiful beach consisting mainly of sand but also scattered pebbles. It's located on the east side of the island, just above Prasa beach. Access is quite difficult, as you have to leave your vehicle on the road, before Klisidi village and follow a rough path for about 800 meters.
Katsouni & Flamourou
These two beaches are located next to each other. Following a short path from Kleisidi beach you will reach these two wonderful golden beaches. Most probably you'll come across with several nudists who camp under tamarisk trees.
Klisidi
Kleisidi is one of the most famous and crowed beaches. Access to it is by car or on foot, as there is a path from Agios Nikolaos beach. It's a large sandy beach and several tamarisk trees. You will find several rooms to let and taverns with excellent homemade food.
Livoskopos
In the north, at a distance of about 8 km from the capital you will find one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. It's made of fine sand and is usually very quiet; isolated from people. Access is somehow difficult, as in order to reach it you have to descend a slightly rugged path.
Megalos Roukounas
The most famous beach of Anafi is located 5 km east of the country and is the largest of the island with golden sand and crystal clear waters. It attracts a lot of people and during high season the right side is flooded with free campers and nudists. In Roukouna there are plenty options for accommodation and food.
Monastiri
In the shadow of Kalamos, just before Zoodochou Pigi monastery and 13.5 km from the island's capital, you will find Monastiri beach. The bay where the beach is located is called Prasies. It is a large sandy beach with only a few pebbles and several tamarisk trees.
Prasa
