Beaches 

Τhis bay is filming location of the movie "The Guns of Navarone" with Anthony Quinn. The unique morphology of the seabed makes the bay an ideal destination for scuba diving and snorkeling. Prefer morning or afternoon to avoid crowds. On the beach there are sunbeds, showers and a canteen. 

It is a huge beach that is a continuation of the beach Traganou (or Traounou). It consists of small pebbles and sand. Its waters are deep and crystal clear. In Afandou you will find spots with canteens, sunbeds and showers as well as places to enjoy the quiet and beautiful blue waters.

If you like to enjoy your swim quietly and without people, then head southeast and you will find your paradise. Gennadi is a huge beach, an extension of Kiotari beach, consisting of small pebbles and sand. The water is clear and deep.

The beach of Elli is the most organized and cosmopolitan beach of Rhodes. Due to the easy access, the beach is flooded daily by hordes of tourists and locals who want to enjoy their swim in the wonderful Aegean waters. Elli is well organized with hundreds of sunbeds, several beach bars, restaurants and cafes. Try diving from the platform located off the beach, known as the "Trampoline". If you do not want to rent sunbeds, you can lay your towel on the part of the beach that is in front of the aquarium.

In the area of Kallithea you will find many small beaches of unique natural beauty. Apart from the basic beach located in the area of the springs, in the surrounding area you will find many places to dive either from the rocks or from the beach. It has sunbeds and showers in most places . Do not forget to take your mask together so that you can explore the beautiful seabed.

The beautiful Bay of Agios Pavlos owes its name to the homonymous chapel, which is located just before the beach. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island, with wonderful sand and small pebbles. It is located in the "Shadow" of the Acropolis of Lindos. If you do not like the crowds it's wise to avoid the mid day hours. It's an organized beach with sunbeds, shower and space to change after your swim.  

At the entrance of Lindos is the beautiful sandy beach of the town with crystal blue waters. Ideal for families as it has all the comforts, mini market, restaurants and several sunbeds.  

At the southernmost point of the island is the most special beach, Prasonisi. It is a narrow strip of sand that in winter is covered by the sea, while in the summer the water subsides and turns into a surfer's paradise. Due to the morphology of the place, when strong winds are blowing in the area (which happens often) one side of the beach is calm while the other is stormy. 

The golden sands of Tsampika with shallow waters, is an ideal choice for families with small children. Bathers here can enjoy inflatable games, jetski, banana and many more water sports. On the beach there are sunbeds and in some places there are showers.
